Vahan Aghazarian was born in 1907 to a well to do Armenian family in Hamidiyeh. Vahan father Sarkis was a well-known and hard-working merchant. His mother Mary came from a very poor family which later Sarks helped the entire family to establish wealth. in 1909 Sarkis and his four brothers were massacred. Mary remarried to Avedis Keshishian in 1910 and the children were adopted by him. the family story continues as they immigrated to Syria and then to United States. Vahan's son Sarkis V Kish residing in Memphis.
