Sahak Sahakian was one of the well-known popular masters in Armenia. He was a participant in many shows in the Armenian Republic (Soviet era), of all -Soviet Union, and international exhibitions of the time., and a holder of gold, silver, and bronze medals, diplomas, and awards. Sahakian's art is mulfaceted. His passion for creation, his unusually rich imagination, and inexhaustible capacity for work drove him to many forms such as sculpture, painting, drawing, and applied and decorative arts and to produce in many media such as clay, wood, cloth, stone, metal, oils, tempura, crayon, and chamotte.
