This is the catalogue of the temporary exhibition under the same name which aimed at highlighting the heroic self-defense episodes in the history of the Armenian Genocide, as well as glorious victories which led to the birth of the First Republic of Armenia. After the terrible tragedy of Mets Yeghern the Armenian nation could resist, survive, win a victory in Sardarapat and Bash-Aparan, and restore its statehood twice in the 20th century. It's necessary to always stress these glorious pages of the history, and the grief over millions of innocent victims should go with the proofs of the nation's endurance and determined will to struggle. Written in Armenian and English side by side detailing the history behind the numerous photos.
