Walter George Smith

Walter George Smith was president of the Law Academy of Philadelphia. in 1880 and a charter member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Always interested in the affairs of the American Bar Association, he was elected its president in 1917.

Walter George Smith served as a prominent member and commissioner for the Near East Relief organization, helping coordinate humanitarian aid and food distribution for war refugees in the Middle East following World War I.
