Born in Athens (Greece) Ara Balzacian studied economics and political science at the university of Ca Foscari in Venice (Italy). he now lives in Kitchener (Canada) where he devotes his full time to writing. the winner of four literary prizes and four Canada Council grants, he has published poetry, drama, fiction, criticism , translation (from the Armenian, French and Italian).
