Edited by Peter Hastings Falk
This book tells the story of artist Arthur Pinajian, an Abstract Expressionist landscape and figurative painter who lived and worked in New York during the 20th century. He remained unrecognized during his lifetime and until 2007, when the New York Times broke the story of how his artwork was saved from a dumpster in “the unlikely discovery that has rocked the art world.” This collection features full-color and black-and-white illustrations of drawings and paintings, as well as excerpts of Pinajian's personal letters.
