This monograph is dedicated to the comparative analysis of church architecture of the-5th century in Armenia and Syria. It substantiates the thesis that the Armenian architecture was created and developed independently in the early Middle Ages, and that the presence of some elements of Syrian construction and building art in certain Armenian churches had no influence in the creation of the Armenian National School of Architecture. It is intended for architects, archeologists, and art critics.
