ROCK INSCRIPTIONS AND GRAFFITI PROJECT: Catalogue of Inscriptions
Edited by Michael E. Stone with Society for Biblical Literature, Resources for Biblical Study series editor Marvin A. Sweeney
The three volumes of Rock Inscriptions and Graffiti Project catalogue the inscriptions, including Armenian graffiti in the Sinai, and are a catalogue of The Rock Inscriptions and Graffiti Project of the Institute of Asian and African Studies of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The Project's first aim was the cataloguing and processing of rock inscriptions and graffiti from the Sinai, the Negev desert, the Christian holy places, and the Judaen Desert. It's ultimate purpose was to create an integrated instrument for scholars combining online data files, with photographic documentation of the inscriptions, maps, and printed bibliography. The Project files contain both published and unpublished graffiti rock inscriptions and include all markings observed on the rocks.
