This booklet, in English and Western Armenian, is dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the conversion of Armenia to Christianity (301-2001). It presents an historical analysis of the early traditions of Armenian Christianity as reported by later Armenian historians, and traces the genetic relation of Armenian Christianity to that of Edessa (Syria) and the final current of Christianity under St. Gregory the Illuminator and King Trdat III of Armenia.
