OUR BOYS OF WORLD WAR II

Regular price $ 16.00 $ 0.00

Co-produced by Roger Hagopian, Filmmaker and Tom Spera, Director

It began as a simple idea - to honor a handful of surviving World War II veterans on the 60th anniversary of the end of the war by recording some of their personal experiences. But as the film rolled, the veterans revealed experiences and emotions never before shared.

Our Boys captures the "in the moment" experiences and the warm reflections of men and women whose commitment and sacrifice characterize their generation. They were young American; many of them were Armenian-Americans whose own families had fled genocide. They answered the call of our nation to sacrifice their youth, their aspirations, and their lives to fight against the perpetrators of tyranny and a new genocide. And they nobly and unselfishly answers the call. The film captures some of their funniest, saddest, and fondest memories. Hagopian and Spera honor the memory of the lives lost, as well as their own fathers who served.
