Garo Antreasian's own lithographs are marked by a synthesis of conception and technical resourcefulness. They have won national awards since 1942 and have received wide exposure from the first years of the Brooklyn Museum's ground-breaking national print exhibitions in the late 1940s. Garo Antreasian: Written on Stone encompasses fifty years of Antreasian's work, from his student years at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis in the 1940s to 1995.
