FOR LOVE AND HONOR

Regular price $ 12.95 $ 0.00

By George Nersessian

The author, upon whose life these stories are loosely based, takes us inside the Greek liberation movement and tells us of the genocide of the Jews by the Nazis. He has employed a traditional Armenian story-telling technique, deftly combining fact and fiction. For Love and Honor represents a collection of early memories that the author describes during his early childhood; suffering the outrages of war as was experienced in Greece during the onset of World War II. These memories, especially during early adulthood, communicate the horrors of the Armenian genocides before and after World War I which his parents experienced as the character Vahe experienced first-hand the rise of Nazi Germany during his lifetime.
