INNOCENCE AMONG EAGLES

Regular price $ 15.00 $ 0.00

By Sarkis A. Takesian

Essentially, Innocence Among Eagles is the story of first-generation children born in America who grow up caught between the forces of two value systems which often clash.  Innocence Among Eagles continues the story, begun in A Cry Unheard, of an immigrant Armenian couple who were forcefully displaced from the country of their birth, along with their relatives and friends, by their government which no longer wanted them and their people. Suffering monstrous indignities, including the murders of their children, the Takarians barely escaped with their lives and came to America to begin a new life. It was not easy to pick up the pieces. There was a new language to learn and new customs to observe. They had to set aside the accumulated years of hate, fear, and frustration to enjoy the fruits of liberty in America.
