By George Mouradian

This historical novel concerns Armenian becoming the first nation in A.D.301 and how it struggled to maintain its worship of Jesus Christ. The book presents a short history of Armenia before the acceptance of Christianity then proceeds to tell about the struggle Armenia endured to defend its new found faith. The heroes of the Mamigonian family are portrayed and how they associated with the country's enemies and allies, the Armenian population, religious leaders, and other nobles. The story covers the circumstances that led up to the epic Battle of Avarayr in 451 and how the results of deadly fighting influenced the relationship between Armenia and Persia. The unassailable patriotism and loyalty displayed during this period demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ and the continuation of the nation's Christian faith.
