By Clara Barton, Preface by Arman Kirakossian

This book presents the report about the relief expedition, organized by Clara Barton, the founder and president of American Red Cross and one of the most eminent figures of American history. The aim of this expedition was to help the Armenian population that became the victim of Hamidian massacres of 1895-1896. The volume contains rather valuable information about the activity of four parties that were involved in the humanitarian expedition, headed by Clara Barton. It provides detailed descriptions of the difficulties that had been overcame while organizing the relief work which aimed at helping the Armenians who had survived the massacres.
