A tale about the lost race of giants and what happens when their existence and place are revealed to the outside world. After finding a huge tooth in the ponds, English explorer Archbishop Leopold Ruthmore decides to find the teeth of the giants to which the tooth belongs, and finds nine giants, survivors of a fine, surviving tribe. He lives with them for ten months, and after returning home, he makes a mistake that he will regret to the end, revealing their existence and place.
