By Marion Der Kazarian

A Personal Chronicle of the 1915 Genocide and the Worcester Armenian Community by Marion Der Kazarian, a survivor of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, who was born in 1909 in Ashodavan in Historic Armenia. Her father, a priest, and 29 other family members perished during the Genocide. After experiencing many harrowing and tragic crises, Marion and her remaining family came to America and settled in Worcester, Mass., in 1921.

Marion became involved in the activities of the Worcester Armenian community and the Armenian Church of Our Saviour.  Included in the book is a detailed history of the first Armenian Apostolic church in the Western hemisphere and of the pioneering immigrants who established the Worcester community.
