ARA HAYTAYAN: WATERCOLOR WORKS 2000-2004
By Edmon Miansaryan, Introduction by Larisa Topchyan
Ara Haytayan's watercolors are paired here with excerpts from the late art critic Edmon Miansaryan's last unpublished article which fully describes the nuances of the artist's rich and delicate inner world, as well as the essential characteristics of his creation. Miansaryan's text is the result of several conversations that have taken place over an extended period of time with the artist and is thus the outcome of a valuable collaboration between the two artists. These excerpts in conjunction with Miansaryan's previous articles should present a whole and genuine image of the art critic and complete the heritage of his art criticism. Bilingual Armenian and English.
