The Armenian Film Pass will allow patrons to watch Words Left Unspoken (Friday at 6:30 PM); Three Armenian Shorts - Say My Name, Exile, and Women in Armenian Cinema (Sunday at 4:00 PM), and the Spotlight screening Labyrinth (Sunday at 5:30 PM). Tickets for individual films cost $15 each.

Labyrinth, a narrative feature by Mikayel Dovlatyan, was made during the problematic transitory years of the early 1990s in independent Armenia. The film was recently programmed in a new remixed version in Paris at the Centre Wallonie Bruxelles and at the International Film Festival of Kerala in India, where its director and stars (Serge Avedikian and Nora Armani) were honored. Mikayel Dovlatyan will be present to take part in the post-screening Q&A.

Words Left Unspoken is another highlight of our selection this year. It is a documentary by Josiane Blanc about Joze Piranian, who is no stranger to Armenian circles, especially
AGBU. Joze has overcome his stutter, which had utterly silenced him as a child and adolescent. He is invited now as a keynote speaker at major corporations and conferences, and his story is an inspiration for overcoming personal limitations and turning them into success. Joze will be present in New York to participate in the post-screening Q&A.
