Description

Join us in an event full of storytelling and art with children's author and illustrator Alik Arzoumanian. Children up to 10 are welcome accompanied by an adult!

Alik Arzoumanian is an author and illustrator living in Cambridge, Massachusetts. When not teaching kindergartners or playing and cooking with her kids, she creates children’s books. In addition to her own books, Alik has illustrated children's books published by Lark Books, Marshall Cavendish Children, Scholastic Library Publishing and Ladybird Books. The first book she illustrated, Tunjur! Tunjur! Tunjur! A Palestinian Folktale, written by Margaret Read MacDonald, received an ALA Notable Book Award. In 2019, Alik's work also received an Honorable Mention at the 3x3 Picture Book Show. Her illustrations have also decorated products such as napkins, paper plates, greetings cards, gift bags and even facial tissues.
